Framevia Studio runs entirely on your Mac and does not connect to any Joy Truepath-operated server. We collect:
The following information is stored locally on your Mac and never leaves it:
~/Library/Containers/com.joytruepath.frameviastudio.mac/Data/Library/Application Support/Framevia Studio/.Framevia Studio uses the standard macOS sandbox. It does not request any TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions — no Camera, Microphone, Screen Recording, or Location. The only permission flow you may see is the standard system file-picker when you choose where to save or open a project.
The app itself makes no outbound network requests during normal operation. The only times it opens a URL are:
Each of those actions is initiated by you. The app does not phone home, check for updates automatically, or send any data to us. App Store updates happen through the Mac App Store, which Apple manages separately under Apple's privacy policy.
We do not use any third-party SDK, analytics provider, advertising network, or backend service in v2.0 and later. The app is a single signed binary that runs in Apple's sandbox.
Earlier (pre-v2.0) builds shipped Google Analytics for in-app product-interaction events. The v2.0 release strips that tracker out entirely — no analytics SDK is present in the binary.
Framevia Studio is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If we ever change the data practices described here, we will update this page and the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app's "What's New" sheet on first launch after the update.
